If you're seeking a chill spot with a great atmosphere and decent food, check out Fiesta Taco. I'm from San Jose, specifically from EESJ, so I have high expectations for Mexican cuisine. What caught my eye was the cabin-like ambiance created by the wooden interior, which gave off this chill, family-friendly vibe. The service was prompt and straightforward. Food came out quickly and my tacos/chips were tasty. Everything was reasonably priced, which is an amazing deal for Mexican food in Tri-Valley!

I really enjoy fiesta taco. I have a soft spot for their cali burrito. Sooooo dang good. They have some solid salsas to choose from at the salsa bar as well. One of my fav spots in the area for sure.

Solid Mexican establishment in "yum yum cove" - the gaggle of restaurants at the northwest corner of Valley and Santa Rita. Our girls and I stopped by for a quick snack, and decided to get carne asada nachos to share. These were ready quickly, and they also gave us extra chips for the table. The nachos were delicious! Generously loaded with all the fixings, and the meat was tender and flavorful! We loved it!! Will be back to try all their other offerings!

Being partly San Diegan and growing up in ESSJ for part of my life I KNOOOOOW my Mexican food. We have relatives who have married into Mexican families and of course I've eaten at my Mexican friends homes. This taqueria is soooo good! I've tried all of the meats and will happily pull up a seat for their whole menu. Over the weekend I had a quesabirria and small shrimp quesadilla and they don't skimp on the shrimp. Another hidden gem is the chicken tortilla soup. Some people like pho when they're sick or hungover I want tortilla soup and they make me feel like there's an abuelita in the back making my caldo and blessing it before it gets served. I haven't been disappointed yet.

We came here on quite a warm day in May. No air conditioner (at least any that was on), but they did have the fans running. There is lots of space inside. The menu on display was a bit confusing (a lot of similarly named items and all clustered together). The shrimp fajitas were amazing! Pricier than other Mexican places, but the portion sizes are large and ended up lasting me for the next two meals.Oh and pretty spicy too, so if you can't handle spice, probably ask them to tone it down. Haven't been here in awhile, since I usually end up going closer to the Bay for Mexican food, but it's a great local option if you're looking for a casual, local Mexican eatery.

Delicious burrito, price increased slightly but for logical reasons. Chips tasted less fresh than usual. Sauces where the highlight as usual. I definitely recommend this spot again.
